About Me

Your wedding should be a wonderful, memorable day for you and your partner. I can help make it a carefree, fun day as well!

It’s your special day, and I will work with you to design a ceremony that is just perfect for you. I love being a celebrant and I’m passionate about making sure you are delighted with your special event.

As a professional celebrant, I will help you develop a ceremony that is unique and tailored to suit your wishes. I also deal with all the legal aspects of registering your marriage so you can relax and enjoy yourself on your big day.

As well as weddings, I am delighted to perform other special occasion ceremonies such as commitment ceremonies, renewal of vows and naming ceremonies. I will assist you to develop a memorable and personalised ceremony for any important life event. I have lots of great ideas for different types of ceremonies and I will happily share my collection of poems, readings and ideas for writing vows with you.

I perform ceremonies in the Brisbane area and anywhere from the Gold Coast to the Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba and I am a member of Australian Marriage Celebrants.

I am extremely friendly and approachable and will do my best to ensure you will cherish the memories of your special ceremony  forever.

I have wanted to be a marriage celebrant practically all my adult life. Why? It’s difficult to say – I have been happily married for many years and I think it’s a great thing to be able to help couples make one of the most important days of their lives even more special and memorable. I’m a “people person” – I love meeting people and I enjoy working with couples to help make their wedding day perfect. But I had to wait quite a while to achieve my ambition.

I became a celebrant relatively late. A lot of weddings and other ceremonies are conducted at weekends. I have four children, now all adults, but for years my children were my priority and I spent my weekends watching them play sport and driving them to their various activities while working during the week, initially as a medical practice manager and later as a teacher. When my youngest son finished Year 12, I decided that it was time to realise my dream and began training to become a celebrant. Since qualifying in June 2013, my career as a celebrant has gone from strength to strength. I’m now a full time celebrant. I love my job and I have never been happier.
